The reason why she is such a star on her own right, its not because she is beautiful to a fault, had very tumultuous relationships with men, or the fact that she was Michael Jackson's bestfriend. It is merely because she grew up on screen and shown her progress in her craft, even in some points she was thrusted into the spot light. She was a cute child actor, a sweetie pie in teen romps, a sex pot in some of her older roles, and a more refined actress once she was getting the parts she wanted. She may just be the epitome of hard work and dedication. She will be missed.
