Investment

So... Looking through wikipedia to learn a bit about investment. I am such a dumb dork, but a girl has to learn about investing to make money grow.

If only I can travel back in time and invest in apple back in the 90's, or maybe Netflix. Man I would be a thousand-aire!!!!! Simply put, I would have more in my savings that what I truly admit to having. I have been saving and saving all these years, for what?? Most of what I have saved went to school books, credit cards and tuition. Am I am still paying off my student loans!!!!!!

Savings account has very low interest rates. IRA's also dont offer much.... whats a girl to do????

You guys have any suggestions? or stories to tell er share and educate me!!!
